Our 2022 Fall Season was interesting to say the least. After Gridiron Football abruptly pulled out of the local market on August 18th, we rebooted with NFL FLAG in just three weeks to keep the youth flag football tradition going in south valley. Our thanks to the families who stuck with us us this season. The sudden shift from Gridiron Football back to NFL FLAG wasn’t easy. Thanks to your patience, some amazing coaches and my staff in the person of Gavin Vallez, we had a fun and enjoyable first season back with NFL FLAG.

Our thanks to our coaches who were veterans from previous seasons with few exceptions. Long time officials, Dante and Tim returned, and Ralph joined our officiating squad while Juan, along with Grace, Sarah, Allison, Penny and other members of the Sobrato Outreach program kept our HQ tent humming on Game Day. Put it all together and you have another fun season. Thank you all for making this season possible. Please be sure to thank your coach for our season if you have not done so already.

Born in the reboot of south valley flag football, we levelled up with Fun in the Five!, an immersive flag football experience where the game is just part of the action. We had a lot of Fun in the Five! this season. We added sunflower seeds, pickles and pizza to our concession choices, hosted another pizza night fundraiser brought back gCasey Photography along with our favorites this season: Our annual Turkey Bowl, running out with the Sobrato HS Varsity football team on Senior Night and getting a visit from Santa and his Magic Ship. We are excited to see what is coming next season.
